1 Timothy 1:12  "I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has given me strength, that he considered me trustworthy, appointing me to his service".

Greetings! We trust you and your families are doing well in these difficult and uncertain times. In spite of everything, God is still on the throne and still working at the camp in incredible ways.

This year there have been over 421 decisions for Christ through the camp and at least 45 baptisms.

One of the four prison ministry teams who partner with us, shared that one young inmate gave testimony of deliverance from nightmares that were brought on by abuse. God used the seminar by the team to enable her to release anger and forgive her offender, bringing freedom from fear and nightmares.

Another woman with a history of drug and alcohol abuse was radically transformed through the discipleship of the prison ministry team. She was looking forward to facing her daughter, completely sober for the first time in 31 years upon her upcoming release.

We approached the purchase of NLA with open hands, asking the Lord to keep it from selling and to provide the necessary funds to procure it, if it was His will for us to have it.  Recently a group, wanting to use it for a back surgery rehab, successfully purchased the property.  We have peace about it and we know that it is not God's will for us to have it, at this time.  We appreciate your prayers for this project and those who generously gave.

The Board voted to do upgrades to our core campus buildings. Those who gave to New Life Acres agreed to redirect their donations to those improvements including:

  • Paint interiors and install plank vinyl flooring in the Game Room, Low Blocks, & Two Story
  • Install metal roofs on the Two Story, Low Blocks, and the Retreat Center/Office
  • Install insulation, heating and cooling in the Game Room
  • As funds become available, we plan to remodel the Old Chapel, Everglades, and Anniversary Lodge

We thank each of you for standing with us in prayer, giving, volunteering, and attending camps and retreats. We could not do what we do without you.  As the year draws to a close, please ask the Lord to guide you in partnering with us in the ministry.

Prayer Requests:

  • For God to continue to move in the hearts and lives
  • Adequate staffing
  • Safety for volunteers, staff, and guests
  • God’s continued provision for the financial needs of the camp
  • God's provision for golf carts and ski boats

In Him,
